A group of film buffs Tammie Chen, Riley Cheon Lee, Ari Bhandel, Lake Ledger, and Brysen Batac navigate post-highschool life when they unexpectedly reunite with their long lost friend and shapeshifter Jonathan Oaks, who has returned home to Vancouver in hoping to rejoin their indie film team. Scars from the past have not yet healed however, as Jonathan’s abandonment  of the team has left his friends resentful towards him. To make matters worse, the team discovers that Jonathan is secretly running away from a murder he committed in Toronto, and that a group of extremist, anti-shapeshifter hunters are after his head.
